Discretionary spending

Spending on wants rather than needs, like eating out or entertainment.

Discretionary spending is the money you choose to spend: restaurants, shopping, streaming, hobbies, travel. It's the easiest part of a budget to adjust when money is tight.

Cutting it to zero rarely lasts. Planning a set amount for it each paycheck tends to work better than trying to spend nothing.
